a curly-haired tot, pink balloons, cupcakes, and the sweetest family - it just doesn't get better. to celebrate abigail's 3rd birthday, mandi + carl, along with their adorable daughter, met me in a grove of oak trees to document the occasion. abby's curly hair, paired with the fact that we share the same birthday month, instantly made us best friends, and our afternoon together was simply a delight. lots of kisses, laughs, and cupcake smashing later, i'm in love with this set of images.

FASHION SHOOT WITH LIFE + LOVE WITH MR. WONDERFUL

i always love collaborating with this beautiful lady, the blogger behind Life + Love with Mr. Wonderful. a few months ago, kasey contacted me to shoot outfits for her blog, and this time, we rendezvoused in beautiful anaheim hills and had a BLAST. i mean, how can you not love a client who brings a bag full of shoes and a half a dozen outfits to play with? i wish i could SHOP in this girl's closet! 

as a photographer, i also had fun trying out a few new things during this session. i wanted to push into a new creative zone, and i had so much fun during the process. it's truly the BEST when clients inspire you to go to new levels, and i'm grateful for opportunities like these.
