LONG BEACH LOVE SESSION: GREG + BROOKE

oh these sweet jeffrey's. we are so lucky to have them in our life. just witnessing their love and joy in one another is a treat, and we are blessed to have friends such as these! and as a photographer? these two made my job SO easy. i think i could take them to the middle of a dump and they'd still make gorgeous images simply because of their contagious laughter and obvious love for each other (was that a weird compliment?). greg + brooke define what it means to be married to your best friend, and they make it look so dang good! 

after we took brooke's graduation photos, greg jumped in and we captured a happy little laid back session around their neighborhood - enjoy!

hey you two, Travis + I are so happy you're a part of our life. we can't wait to see what adventures come your way, but no matter where life takes us, we'll always be thankful for your fun and life-giving friendship!

cabo san lucas love session // wesley + leslie

almost a year ago, i flew down to lovely cabo san lucas to visit my best friend and spend a few days in her new life. little did i know that during that trip, Travis was picking up an engagement ring and planning our proposal which would take place just a few days after i got home - but that fun memory is for another day! this weekend, is les' birthday weekend, and her sweet husband surprised her with a trip to San Diego, which also included a trip up to the LA area, which means we get to see them tonight! i am so excited to give this girl a real-life birthday hug and spend time with each other and our husbands, which hello, is something our 14-year-old selves always dreamed of doing (we even hoped to be neighbors and share a garden and schedule play dates with our kids, who would love each other and one day grow up and marry each other...we'll see what God still has up his sleeve ;]). either way, thinking of les & wes reminded me of this shoot we took almost a year ago, and i wanted to share a few favorites again...just beacause!

i have totally fallen off the blog train, but for the sake of TONS more work, and for that i'm so thankful! i am so excited about the end of this year and the few goals i still have to accomplish, and then the start of a FRESH new year! 

when andrea of He Calls Me Wifey contacted me to take christmas photos for her and dave, i almost died. and then she started coming up with these brilliant ideas - bicycles, books, coffee, blankets - and then i really started getting excited. it is a dream to work with clients who are brimming with creative ideas.  not only is andrea one of the most stunning people i know, but she and dave are also hilarious - they were such a huge JOY to work with! 

dave and andrea - thank you for all of your encouragement and excitement over these photos. you guys totally rock!
