OAK CANYON FAMILY SESSION: THE BREWER-TORRES FAMILY

a curly-haired tot, pink balloons, cupcakes, and the sweetest family - it just doesn't get better. to celebrate abigail's 3rd birthday, mandi + carl, along with their adorable daughter, met me in a grove of oak trees to document the occasion. abby's curly hair, paired with the fact that we share the same birthday month, instantly made us best friends, and our afternoon together was simply a delight. lots of kisses, laughs, and cupcake smashing later, i'm in love with this set of images.

dear carl, mandi, + abigail, thank you for such a happy afternoon. you are THE cutest, seriously.

go grab a cupcake (you have my permission), and enjoy the rest of your tuesday!

LAGUNA BEACH FAMILY SESSION: THE MEADOR FAMILY, PART TWO

yesterday, i shared part one of the Meador family's session, and today i'm so excited to show you the rest!

in just a few short weeks, this family is transferring back to the east coast, so maria wanted to capture their life in california, and what better place than laguna beach? and so we documented what these four do best together - play, laugh, and love - with the beautiful pacific ocean as our backdrop.

i think i take for granted how close we live to the ocean, that we can just drive down PCH, pull over wherever our hearts desire, and take it all in - the massive, awe-inspiring wonder of it all. people dream of dipping their toes in the pacific. and here we are, just a quick drive away from one of california's many, many natural splendors. and to highlight the beauty of it all, the clouds rolled in and illuminated this session perfectly. i could have chased and photographed this family for hours, our toes in the sand, the sound of squeals and giggles as they ran from the waves, and the ocean breeze playing with our hair. it was a quintessential afternoon.

chata, maria, and your two little guys - thank you for asking me to document this exciting and unknown transition in your life. who knows, maybe the Lord will call you back to the west coast one day! your family is beautiful, and my time with you was a gift. praying for blessings to cover your life as your follow God's lead!
