A LATTE + SEE YOU LATER: A GREENHOUSE CAFE LIFESTYLE SESSION

we met in the college choir - a little one-unit elective we both took because we loved singing (and when you're a freshman, you just sign up for EVERYTHING in the hopes of making new friends). on those 20 minute walks to the music building, we quickly became friends, and emily has been a constant in my life for the past five years. after a long season of prayer, patience, and perseverance, my sweet friend is officially off to grad school. while i could not be more excited to see her achieve this goal and pursue her dream, i am also selfishly not ready to see her go. BUT, i know this strong, smart, and talented lady is going to rock the pants off grad school - i can't wait to see where life will take her!

while we were sipping lattes and chatting about life on an early morning last week, i realized how much she means to me and how deeply i'm going to miss having her so close. in true em + deb fashion, it wouldn't be a proper good bye without one last coffee date and a quick mini shoot - my favorite kind of session!

LONG BEACH SENIOR SESSION: TYLER

meet my handsome brother-in-law. lover of taco bell, soon-to-be-graduate, financial guru (aka future rich guy who'll be driving a fancier car than all of us one day), and all-around great guy. seriously, i married into a trio of incredible men - one's all mine, but two are still single, so...i'm just sayin'... - and i couldn't be luckier to be the only gilley girl (for now)!

tyler asked me to capture a few graduation photos to celebrate the occasion, so here they are!

also, i think every guy should own a great suit and look this dapper every once in a while.

OLD TOWNE ORANGE FAMILY SESSION: THE MOFFITTS

oh my goodness, this sweet family - they are THE CUTEST, full of style, laughter, and love. clearly, these four love to love on each other, play together, and delight in each other's company. this family session has got to be one of my favorites of all time, not only because of the fun locations and perfect light, but mostly because the moffitt family made my camera come to life with their unrelenting love and joy. take a look at their session, and you'll see what i mean!

dear moffitt family, thank you for seriously BRINGING IT to this shoot and making my job such a pure joy. i pray for the love you share now to pour over for decades to come, both in your home and beyond!
