SEAN + TESS: CORONA DEL MAR ENGAGEMENT SESSION

Last weekend, i had the sheer joy + pleasure of documenting Sean + Tess' beautiful wedding day, and it dawned on me that i never blogged their oh-so-adorable engagement session! So Happy Friday, here it is!

We started their engagement session in the kitchen, the place where this relationship felt its first sparks. Tess is a chef and landed a job at Disneyland, where she caught the eye of a fellow Disney employee - but it wouldn't be another little while until the sparks started flying. As their paths continued to cross, the connection between these two became undeniable, and over the last seven years, their friendship has deepened and their romance has blossomed. From the kitchen, to the beach, where Sean proposed earlier this year, this sweet couple has overcome and celebrated so much. My heart couldn't be more thrilled as they now begin their journey of marriage together.

After wrapping up our time in the kitchen, we drove down to the beach to carry the last rays of the sunset. The rugged beauty of Corona Del Mar offered the most stunning of backgrounds...wouldn't you agree?

And since it's Friday, it's time to close that laptop (you and me both), and live a little this weekend! Stick around for Tess + Sean's high desert wedding hitting the blog in the next few weeks!

Xoxo.

WOODSY ROMANCE SHOWER INSPIRATION

Last weekend, I was invited to photograph the sweetest of baby showers for a dear friend. I was expecting a beautifully styled and classy event (because that's just who this lady is), but this - this baby shower was beyond words.

Every detail was carefully crafted, every touch thoughtful + sweet. From the antler candle holders to the gorgeous greenery gracing the tables, this backyard shower took everyone's breath away and made my little heart so very happy. Also, all that bruschetta? Divine. And the apple cider champagne? Perfect for a warm October day. Besides the gorgeous styling, however, it was the sweet anticipation of a new baby and the love of friends + family that made this shower one to remember. I could not be more thrilled for Andrea + their husband as they prepare for the arrival of their little one!

Much love to the following vendors whose talent made this such a beautiful day!
